I think this means that working together achieves way more than just working by yourself. Working together will help out everyone as well as you and you can feel good about yourself because you helped other people or your friends and yourself. For example if you were to have to do a project for school and if you were to do do it by yourself you might struggle with the project because its only you but if you were to work with people you would accomplish much more.

Duties and Responsibilities: Healthcare Administrators direct and manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities. They are responsible for long range planning, financial administration, materials management, purchasing, public affairs, and patient administration.

Salary: $35,000 - $100,000

Education: Students should take challenging high school businesses, science, math, and English. Most healthcare administrators hold master’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration.

                                                                What's on your mind?
In my mind i am thinking about being home right now and just lying in my bed and using my ipod and just going on to youtube or just stay in my bed and play videogames. I also just want to go home already so ican play videogames with my friends because we always seem to have a fun time when we play because we always end up laughing.

                                                       Histology Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: Both histologic technicians and histologists prepare tissues samples that are used by physicians to determine if a patient has a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy. Histology technicians and histologists prepare samples by using equipment to thinly slice tissue slices. They then mount the thin slices on microscope slides and use chemicals to stain them so important structures are visible.

Salary:$22,000 - $35,000

Education: Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. To become a histologic technician, students must either earn an associate’s degree in the field or complete a long term training program in a histopathology lab.

Reflection: I think I would want to become one because it seems like a very interesting job.

I think this quote means that you have to have a positive mental attitude to achieve your goals because if you don't have a positive metal attitude you wont accomplish your goal. For example if you want to become a doctor but you don't have a positive mental attitude you wont become a doctor but if you have a positive mental attitude you will become a doctor.

Duties and Responsibilities: Prepping, indexing and imagining all paper medical records. Analyzing the health record for completeness and accuracy, Quality review of all imaged documents, Releasing patient information and protections assigned for closed adoption, drug treatment, sexual and behavioral health issues

Salary:$32,350

Education: becoming a Health Information Specialist (HIS) requires you to become credentialed as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). St. Kate’s HIS program will prepare you for this certification. Upon graduation, you will earn an Associate of Applied Science degree.

I would not like to become a health information specialist because I am not interested.

Duties and Responsibilities: Health educators provide information on health and health related issues. They can assess health training needs and plan health education programs. They may specialize according to specific health concerns, illness, or work or training setting. Health educators may work as independent consultants or in health departments, community organizations, businesses, hospitals, schools, or government agencies. Health Educators often:

·         Perform health training needs assessments

·         Design and develop health education programs

·         Publish health education materials, information papers, and grant proposals.

·         Develop health education curriculum.

·         Teach health in public and private schools.

Average Salary: $20,000-$35,000

Educational Requirements: Students should take college preparatory courses during high school. Health educators have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in health education. Many have master’s degrees. To be certified or licensed to teach health in public schools requires a master’s degree and successful completion of a written exam in many states.

Duties and Responsibilities: Genetic Counselors work with patients and families who have genetic, or inherited, disorders and birth defects. They also counsel people who are at risk for these problems. Genetic Counselors often educate patients and families about their conditions and how they might best manage their problems.

Examine family histories to determine the likelihood of genetic problems.

Assist patients and families in reaching decisions about genetic disorders that do not conflict with their religious or ethical values.

Conduct research about genetic disorders.

Educate medical professionals and the general public about genetic disorders.

Salary:$25,000-$55,000

Education: Students interested in becoming genetic counselors should take a challenging high school curriculum that emphasizes science and mathematics. A master’s degree is required, and most graduate programs require a strong undergraduate background in biology in biology, chemistry, and behavioral science. Many states require genetic counselors to be certified.
