Home health aides usually work for companies that provide in home assistance to ill, injured, elderly, or disable customers. Their duties  include taking the blood pressure, temperature. And pulse of patients. They help patients get in and out of bed, take baths, and dress. They also prepare and serve meals as well as perform housekeeping chores like making beds and cleaning rooms.
Salary: $8,000-$18,000
Education: Most employers prefer that nursing assistants and aides have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some vocational schools and community colleges offer training programs.
