                                                      Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)
Duties and Responsibilities:  A diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a Diagnostic Ultrasound professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care and services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures. The Sonographer is responsible for the independent operation of sonographer equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography.

Salary: $44,990-$65,860


Education: In order to become a sonographer you must have an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree. Sonography programs include classes in related to health topics. Basic training for sonographers occurs when their educational program.
