I think this quote means that choosing the right will bring you happiness and you feel good about yourself because you chose the right but if you choose ctw or choosing the wrong that will not bring you happiness it will just make you feel bad about yourself because you chose the wrong so you should always choose the right. For example if you were to do drugs and you didn't stop you would be choosing the wrong and you would feel bad about yourself because drugs are bad  but choosing the right would be to stay away from drugs.
