                                                     Environmental Health Specialist/Sanitarian
Duties and Responsibilities: They are public and private agencies and organizations in food protection and safety, water protection, air quality, noise, industrial and land pollution, sewage disposal, hazardous and toxic substances etc. Sanitarians enforce government regulations and advise and educate clients.They are involved in improving the environment.

Salary: $25,000-$50,000

Education:Students should take college preparatory courses, especially in mathematics and science, during high school. 
A career as a sanitarian or environmental health specialist requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in environmental health or environmental engineering.  Many jobs require certification and/or a Master's Degree in these, or related fields.
