Speech Pathologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Speech Pathologist provide appropriate speech language service in Pre-K elementary,
middle, junior high, and high school with no school level undeserved. They work
with students studying the full range of communication disorders, including
those involving language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing. They
provide a distinct set of roles based on their focused expertise in language.
They are integrally involved in the efforts of schools to prevent academic
failure.
Salary: $73,410
Education: The standard requirement to become a Speech
Pathologist is to have a master’s degree and a supervised clinical experience. Speech
pathologists must be licensed in almost all the states. Certain courses must be
taken before entering the program.
